Alchip has shipped total 24 million SoC chips in 2007 and 17.4 million SoC chips in 90nm which accounts for 72.5% of 24M.
Alchip provides both short term and long term solutions for global logistics. In the short term, Alchip offers its customers an organized vendor managed inventory for quick distribution of products. For the long term, Alchip is able to put/find physicals distributors in place to ensure an uninterrupted flow of goods on a global scale.
Alchip's long term plan is a multi-step process towards logistical success. First, we create inventory space in local 'distribution centers' near to our customers factories based on the aggregate requirements of each factory. Next, Alchip helps to coordinate shipments of its provided SoC solution to these local distribution centers. Each distribution center then delivers the specified parts to their geographically adjacent factory for immediate build in our customer's products. Additionally, each distribution center is overviewed by Alchip directly or an authorized Alchip partner. |
